This is a book of woodcuts made to accompany eight aphorisms written by my friend Bill Cole. It was made in 1992 at Harvard University's Bow and Arrow Press, located in the basement of Adams House at the corner of Bow and Arrow Streets in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The book was set with lead type by hand and printed on a Vandercook press with the help of Gino Lee and Bow and Arrow Press staff. The nine woodcuts were made on cross-grain cherry wood.
